Introduction to Discrete Differential Geometry (Part I)

I will talk a bit about DDG, some interesting properties of discretized manifolds and analogues for curvature/Gauss-Bonnet theorem. This will be quite theoretical, and I will start by defining a smooth manifold so no previous knowledge is required. Next GSS will focus more on applications and open problems (computer graphics related, mostly).
