A Fireside Chat - Paths to Math: a Conversation

Jinyoung Park earned her Ph.D. in mathematics from Rutgers University in 2020, under the supervision of Jeff Kahn. Following her Ph.D., she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) and Stanford University before joining the faculty of the Courant Institute at NYU in 2023. Her research interests include extremal and probabilistic combinatorics. Park received her bachelor's degree in mathematics education from Seoul National University in 2005 and worked as a secondary school mathematics teacher until 2011.
