Graduate Student Seminar: Spectral volumes for heterogeneity in cryo-EM, Speaker: Amit Halevi

Abstract:  Cryo-EM is a powerful tool for determining molecular structure. One of the most important remaining problems is how to handle molecules whose shapes vary. In this talk, I lay out the cryo-EM problem, one solution for the traditional problem, and an extension we have developed to handle heterogeneity.
